110325_at least I ran
I got to run today

made my day

I ran 5km pain-free in about a month and it honestly made up for all the negative emotions during my day.

I didn't go into the office today because

  1. I was going to run today before going to work
  2. But then it was raining outside
  3. So the only time would be right after work, since it's now dark by 6

...And although that means I need to "make up" for my time, at least I was able to do something that made my day – in a long, long while.

People talk about this like it's the antidote to fight seasonal depression. I've been taking it since I was forced to move where I am right now, and my seasonal depression gets worse every year.

I like to think of it as a placebo: "I would be feeling a lot worse if I didn't take it."

I really want to run faster. My 10K goals are sub-55, then sub-50, then sub-45. Hopefully, all will happen next year.

I also want to run faster in the HM. Reach sub-2, then sub-1:55, then sub-1:50. One day, just one day, hoping for a 1:35 HM.
